Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that five Palestinians were martyred and others injured following an Israeli air raid targeting a house in the Al-Mashaash neighborhood west of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. Violent clashes involving machine guns are said to be taking place in southern Gaza between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli army.
The correspondent also reported that the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City had come under intense Israeli shelling.
The Gaza Civil Defense stated that a large number of martyrs and injured fell during the Israeli bombardment on Al-Sabra, and efforts to reach them have been unsuccessful.
Israeli fighter jets launched an air raid on Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, which has been besieged by Israeli forces for several days.
Multiple refugee camps in Gaza, including Al-Nuseirat, Al-Bureij, and Al-Maghazi, were subjected to intense Israeli artillery shelling this morning.
10 Massacres
The Gaza Health Ministry announced that it documented 10 massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the past 24 hours, noting that more than 120 martyrs fell in these massacres.
The Health Ministry stated that the number of martyrs who have fallen due to the Israeli aggression on the sector since October 7 has risen to 23,469 Palestinians, while the number of injured has increased to 59,604.
In the Rafah camp today, Friday, a funeral procession was held for 10 Palestinians who were martyred due to the bombing of an Israeli occupation aircraft on a house belonging to the Abu Sneimeh family in the Al-Shouka area east of the Rafah camp.
Resistance Operations
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades—the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)—announced on Thursday that its fighters, in collaboration with the Saraya al-Quds—the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement—managed to target an enemy command room with heavy mortar shells east of Khan Yunis.
Al-Qassam Brigades clarified that their fighters were able to target an Israeli infantry force stationed in a house, inflicting fatalities and injuries among them.
The Brigades also announced targeting eight Israeli vehicles, including two Merkava tanks, a bulldozer, and an armored personnel carrier, destroying one of them, in areas to the east of Khan Yunis and east of Al-Nuseirat camp.
In Khan Yunis as well, Qassam fighters managed to target a special Israeli force fortified in a building with an "Al-Yaseen 105" projectile, engaging them with machine guns and causing casualties among them.
Saraya al-Quds announced the shelling of a gathering of occupation soldiers with mortar shells in the vicinity of Bani Suheila east of Khan Yunis.
Saraya al-Quds stated that "its fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a Tandem projectile in the Jabalia al-Balad area north of the Gaza Strip," and also took control of an Israeli "Skylark" type drone in Jabalia.
Meanwhile, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Haggari stated that army forces in the cities of Al-Maghazi and Khan Yunis killed 18 militants during military operations in the area.
The military spokesperson confirmed the discovery of 300 tunnel openings in Khan Yunis and the destruction of dozens of tunnels as well.
