Occupation Forces Raid Balata Camp in Nablus

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Balata camp, located to the east of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, after a raid in the early hours of Saturday morning. The report added that the sound of explosions was heard in the camp, and clashes took place between Palestinian militants and the occupation forces before they pulled out.

The occupation forces also seized surveillance camera recordings from Amman Street, situated in the eastern neighborhood of Nablus. The Palestinian Red Crescent informed of injuries sustained by a woman and a young man due to the assault by Israeli soldiers during the raid on Balata camp east of Nabus.

In a separate incident, Al Jazeera’s reporter confirmed that Palestinians were shot by the occupation’s forces during their incursion into al-Ain camp in Nablus. Video footage published by local Palestinian media outlets on Telegram showed Israeli occupation forces hindering the work of ambulances during the dawn raid on Balata camp in the West Bank.

**Arrests and Further Incidents**

An additional incident involved a young Palestinian man shot by Israeli gunfire at Huwara military checkpoint, south of the city of Nablus. The Israeli military stated that their forces opened fire on the man after he attempted to stab one of the soldiers at the checkpoint.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested several Palestinian citizens from the city of Tulkarm in the north of the West Bank early today. Al Jazeera’s reporter noted that a number of occupation vehicles stormed the city, raiding homes in the suburbs of Iktaba and Thayab. A military force headed towards the refugee camps of Nur Shams and Tulkarm and Sikkah Street. Sounds of gunfire and explosions were reported prior to the withdrawal of the Israeli forces.

During their raid on Shuafat refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces heavily used tear gas against the citizens. Clashes also erupted near the military checkpoint west of the camp between Palestinian youth and occupation forces that fired tear gas heavily towards them.
