Yesterday, the Israeli occupation army perpetrated a series of massacres in the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 170 martyrs, while the Palestinian resistance announced it had killed and wounded Israeli soldiers and destroyed equipment during battles on several fronts.
Last evening, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that at least 15 Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured in Israeli bombings targeting a house in the Nusseirat refugee camp in the central besieged enclave, raising the death toll in the camp to at least 25 in recent hours.
Among the martyrs in Nusseirat camp was the journalist Hanin Al-Qishtan along with several members of her family.
Also in central Gaza, no fewer than 12 were martyred in an attack on Deir al-Balah.
The spokesman for Gaza's Health Ministry, Ashraf Al-Qidra, confirmed the martyrdom of 90 Palestinians yesterday in Israeli air strikes on Jabaliya, north of the territory.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the arrival of 54 martyr's bodies at Al-Shifa Hospital after bombings on Al-Sabra, Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods, and Al-Rimal in Gaza City.
Earlier footage showed the aftermath of destruction in the residential district of Al-Sabra in Gaza City following targeting by Israeli occupation forces.
In the southern region of the Strip, a wounded woman was martyred as a result of the occupation forces' targeting of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. A medical source informed Al Jazeera that the bodies of 17 martyrs were received at this hospital yesterday.
To date, the Palestinian martyr toll has reached approximately 19,000, and the injured 51,000, mostly women and children, due to the ongoing Israeli war on the enclave for over two months.
Raid of Al-Awda Hospital
Meanwhile, Gaza's Health Ministry said occupation forces stormed Al-Awda Hospital in Jabaliya last night, detaining administrative and medical staff after stripping them.
The ministry added that the occupation forces arrested the hospital director Ahmad Muhanna and transferred him to an unknown location.
The raid of Al-Awda Hospital follows widespread attacks by occupation forces on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the enclave.
Yesterday, Gaza's Health Ministry stated that the Israeli army is committing massacres in the northern areas of the enclave, pointing out that there are no more hospitals in the area to receive martyrs and wounded after the occupation caused their services to halt.
Similarly, a medical official at Jabaliya's Medical Center (north of the Strip) reported the cessation of this center and all hospitals in the northern area from providing medical services.
Resistance Operations
Amid the battles between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced that they had detonated an anti-personnel explosive against a 10-soldier Israeli infantry unit north of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip yesterday, causing deaths and injuries within that force.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also declared that they had destroyed two Israeli troop carriers north of Khan Younis with "Al-Yasin 105" shells. They stated that an Israeli helicopter evacuated the dead and wounded.
Al Jazeera footage documented an Israeli helicopter circling over the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, before landing, presumably to evacuate injured Israeli soldiers. Concurrently, sounds of clashes and artillery shelling were heard in the area.
Furthermore, Al-Qassam forces targeted an Israeli troop assembly east of Khan Younis with heavy caliber mortar shells.
In another operation, the Brigades released images showing the targeting of an Israeli Merkava tank southeast of Deir al-Balah, in the central Strip, with an Al-Yasin 105 missile.
The Al-Qassam Brigades' military media broadcast images of rocket salvoes targeting Israeli areas yesterday, as well as striking the Neirim settlement near Gaza with short-range rockets.
Videos also displayed intense gunfire within Gaza City along Al-Yarmouk Street.
For its part, Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – said its fighters bombarded Israeli occupation forces east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City with heavy mortar shells, achieving direct hits.
Al-Quds Brigades also confirmed they bombarded the military formations of the occupation forces at the Beit Lahia axis with a barrage of mortar shells, along with the area of Juhor al-Dik.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army yesterday reported the deaths of an officer and two soldiers, with nine others injured including two officers and three soldiers in battles in the southern part of the Strip over 24 hours, raising the number of its dead since the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza in late October to 128.
Additionally, the Israeli military radio stated that army estimates suggest that the battle against the Al-Qassam Brigades in Khan Younis could take several months.
