Reports indicate that Palestinian resistance fighters confronted Israeli forces on Wednesday evening in the town of Ya'bad, southwest of Jenin in the West Bank. Meanwhile, two Palestinians were martyred by the occupation forces' bullets in Hebron and Bethlehem.

Al Jazeera's correspondent stated that a force from the Israeli occupation army's infantry stormed Ya'bad town as part of recurring security activities in the area located southwest of Jenin.

He added that Palestinian resistance fighters threw homemade explosive devices in conjunction with the infantry's invasion of the town.

The correspondent also reported that the occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron and Atil in the Tulkarm district.

Local platforms published scenes of the Israeli occupation forces' incursion into the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank.

Killing and Arrest

Earlier, two Palestinians were martyred by the occupation forces' gunfire in Hebron and Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in a communiqué that "the General Authority for Civil Affairs (the body communicating with the Israeli side) informed it of the martyrdom of the young Basel Wajih Al-Mohtaseb (28 years old), by the occupation's bullets near the town of Sa'ir north of Hebron."

In a tweet on platform X, the occupation army stated that "reservists from Battalion 8106 of the Israeli army neutralized a Palestinian who tried to carry out a car-ramming attack at Beit Anoun junction," confirming that no injuries occurred among its forces.

Other Palestinians were injured in confrontations with the occupation near Jenin, Tubas, and Nablus in the West Bank.

In turn, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated that the number of detainees in the West Bank had reached 4600 since the 7th of October.

Since October 7th, more than 300 Palestinians have been martyred by the bullets of the Israeli occupation soldiers in the West Bank.

The occupation carries out daily campaigns of killing, arrests, and demolitions in various cities of the West Bank, concurrent with the continuation of its aggression on Gaza, which so far has resulted in the martyrdom of 20,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
