Occupation forces launched pre-dawn campaigns of raids and arrests in the towns and cities of the occupied West Bank, which is witnessing escalating anger against the ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces detained 13 Palestinians from the town of Qatanna, west of occupied Jerusalem.

In Hebron, located in the southern West Bank, the occupation forces arrested a young man and seized a vehicle and cash sums. Additionally, two young men were arrested in the city of Bethlehem after raids in the Deheisheh refugee camp and the nearby village of Husan.

In the northern part of the West Bank, the Israeli army detained two Palestinians from the village of Beit Iba, west of Nablus. The Palestinian News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed several homes in the village, conducted searches, and tampered with the contents.

Since the 7th of October last year, the Israeli army has been conducting daily raids and incursions into villages, towns, and camps in the West Bank and Jerusalem. These operations are accompanied by confrontations, arrests, shooting, and the use of tear gas, concurrent with its continuous aggression on the Gaza Strip.

During this period, the occupation forces have arrested about 4,900 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, about 510 Palestinians have been killed, including 111 children, since the beginning of the year 2023.
