Palestinian factions have declared that the Israeli occupation's plans to establish a political administration under civilian labels to manage the Gaza Strip will fail against the resilience of Palestinian people and their resistance. They have reaffirmed that the enemy's failure has led the occupation to preempt the outcome of the war with claims of forming a civilian administration for the Strip under its control.

This statement was issued on Saturday evening by the "Follow-up Committee of the National and Islamic Forces," which includes most Palestinian factions, notably the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Islamic Jihad Movement, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The factions added that the occupation aims to impose a reality in Gaza that is managed by itself and those who submit to its dictates, using the name of a civilian or tribal administration. They clarify that the establishment of local civilian or tribal bodies as the occupation claims to manage the sector "will not be realized."

The factions – in the statement published by the Hamas movement – affirmed that Israel is still pursuing "its old and new scheme to liquidate the Palestinian cause and displace our people, but this plan will fail and collapse." They consider any interaction with these proposals "a national betrayal that no one will accept."

Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, Israeli officials have spoken about managing the strip post-conflict, and what they called the "post-Hamas phase," while Israeli media report ongoing Israeli disagreements over this matter. In response, several Palestinian movements have emphasized that Gaza's management is a Palestinian affair.

Concurrently, confrontations continue between the occupation and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, continuing the aggression on the sector for the 93rd day, leaving nearly 30,000 dead and missing and 58,166 injured, as well as the displacement of residents from various areas in the sector. This is in addition to the immense destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities, and hospitals.
