Arab Feminist Lobby and the Epstein Scandal

The United States, along with the rest of the world, is currently entangled in a major scandal involving the crème de la crème of Western society, including politicians, capitalists, intellectuals, scientists, media figures, and artists. At the epicenter of this scandal is the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Setting aside the questions of why the scandal exploded now and whether it could be used for political blackmail, the scandal itself represents a moral decline that demands introspection, especially to appreciate the ethics embedded within our 'Muslim' identity.

The "Epstein" Monster

While the details have become widely known and can be easily referenced, certain key events cannot be overlooked. In 2005, Florida police began investigating Epstein for molesting a minor based on her parents' complaint.

In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting sex with a 14-year-old girl in exchange for $200 and was sentenced to 18 months in prison, coupled with the termination of a federal investigation through a plea deal, a process that was marred with allegations of influence peddling to escape deserved punishment.

2019 saw Epstein arrested again to face federal sex crime charges involving the exploitation of minors. However, within a month of his arrest, he was found dead in his jail cell under mysterious and yet-to-be-decoded circumstances.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's right-hand woman, partner, and lover who also undertook other roles, is the second name in this scandal. She is the daughter of media magnate Robert Maxwell, who died in 1991 under mysterious circumstances as well. The Israeli Mossad was alleged to have been involved in his death due to accusations during his life of working for Israeli intelligence, which he denied. After his death, Israel held a state funeral for him attended by Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir and President Chaim Herzog, since Robert was Jewish and known for his strong ties to Israel.

Epstein chose his victims among the daughters of poor families, broken homes, and group care homes; several of them later testified about their harrowing experiences with him. One victim said, "Epstein preyed on me; he put me in a vulnerable situation and exploited me when I was 17." Another stated, "I was just there, and suddenly something terrible happened. It wasn't supposed to be sexual, but it was."

The Society's Elite Mired in Scandal

Epstein's activities weren't just for personal gratification; they spread to others through activities that have yet to be confirmed as being related to intelligence operations for other countries like Israel.

The list of names, ordered to be released by Judge Loretta Preska and associated with Epstein's acquaintainces, includes members of royal families, former presidents, politicians, media personalities, lawyers, thinkers, and scientists—a long list from the societal elite. Notably included are Britain's Prince Andrew, former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking, and the late American singer Michael Jackson.

One name that has continually sparked controversy is the Zionist lawyer and law professor Alan Dershowitz, who Netanyahu tapped to represent Israel in a lawsuit filed by South Africa in the International Court of Justice. Dershowitz deflected his inclusion in the list on Fox News by citing his Jewish identity, ignoring that Epstein and Maxwell were also Jewish.

Squandered Civilizational Values

This isn't just an issue of moral deviation. It opens the door wide for discussing the values of Western liberalism, which, after the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, presented a particular narrative of history's "end" and the "victory of the white man" as seen in Francis Fukuyama's theories.

However, events have proven these narratives to be mere justifications for dominance, exploiting other nations' wealth, and imposing the worst of Western agendas on us, while excluding us from the better values these civilizations produced like political freedoms and effective public governance.

The Western conspiracy against the Arab Spring revolutions serves as a prime example.

Total Absence of Arab Feminists!

The "Epstein" scandal has redirected attention to the dangerously pivotal role that the Arab "feminist" lobby plays in passing Western agendas in the realms of women, children, and family rights.

This lobby has managed to push through laws and legislation aligned with Western liberal, leftist tendencies, often with government support and coerced religious endorsements, without considering the long-term implications. To illustrate, two examples suffice:

First, the issue of female circumcision, where a vehement struggle led by feminist organizations criminalized the practice, which could have been medically regulated without resorting to such uproar.

Second, setting the minimum marriage age for girls to 18 without considering the diversity of environments and cultures within a country, results in paradigms where young women are considered "children" until this age.

In contrast, Western liberalism encourages underage girls toward sexual activity and even supports them through pregnancy outside marital contexts. All these endeavors seem to strike at the very institution of family.

A Necessary Comparison

Concluding, it's essential to recall that in Gaza, Israeli forces killed thousands of children, and on Epstein's island, the innocence of numerous young girls was destroyed. In both instances, Western civilization's influence was marked through its leaders, thinkers, and values.

This begs the natural question: is it not time to liberate ourselves from the moral and ethical collapse of such a civilization?
