Barcelona has set a date with its traditional rival Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Super Cup for football, currently being held in the Saudi capital Riyadh, following their victory over Osasuna with a clean two goals on Thursday in the semi-final round of the tournament.

Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the final, set to be held next Sunday, with the latter having secured their final spot after a Wednesday victory over Atlético Madrid with a score of 5-3 following two additional periods.

The tournament's final match will take place at the "Al All Park" stadium, which also hosted the semi-final matches.

Barcelona’s first goal was scored by Robert Lewandowski in the 59th minute, followed by a second goal by Alamine Jamal in the third minute of stoppage time at the end of the second half. This marked the first goal for the 16-year-old player since October of the previous year.

This final will be the second consecutive meeting between the two clubs after they faced each other last season in Saudi Arabia, with Barcelona emerging victorious with a score of 3-1.

Barcelona holds the record for the most Super Cup victories with 14 titles, ahead of Real Madrid with 12, and Athletic Bilbao and Deportivo La Coruña with 3 each, followed by Atlético Madrid with 2.
