Gaza – what has been the toughest situation you have experienced during the 100 days of brutal Israeli warfare on the Gaza Strip? This question garnered similar responses from Palestinians who spoke to Al Jazeera Net, focusing on the great suffering and immense tragedy they endured at the hands of the Israeli occupying forces. Today, Sunday, January 14th, 2024, marks the 100th day of aggression, which began on the previous 7th of October.

Fatima Al-Balawi believes the hardest day was when she was informed of the martyrdom of her daughter, husband, and granddaughter in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza, far from her, without a farewell, knowing that they were not buried properly.

Abdulhai Abu Al-Qomsan says the hardest moment for him was learning about the martyrdom of around 200 members of his family in the Jabalia camp (north of the Gaza Strip), including his brothers and their grandchildren, who were erased from the civil registry.

Mrs. Reem Hijazi sees the most difficult moment as the day her area in the Beach Camp, north of the Gaza Strip, was subjected to a “ring of fire” that led to the destruction of her residential block and the martyrdom of around 70 people, with the displacement of the camp’s residents.

For Widad Qandil from the Maghazi camp, the hardest moment remains the day their house was destroyed over its inhabitants’ heads, resulting in her suffering a neck and spinal fracture, causing a disability that prevents her from moving, and the current lack of medical necessities at the shelter camp she resides in.

As for the child Amir Mansour, the toughest situation that he will never forget was the day his house was destroyed and he was trapped under the rubble for two hours, witnessing the martyrdom of his father, two of his brothers, his sister, and her children, as well as sustaining injuries and facial disfigurement and a broken arm.

Finally, Egyptian resident in Gaza, Ibrahim Mustafa Ibrahim, sees the hardest moment to be the day he was displaced from Juhor ad-Dik village, south of Gaza City, amid bombing, fleeing with his family of 12 people among corpses and body parts left by the Israeli army, with no permission for anyone to retrieve them for burial.
