The Israeli army has continued its incursions into the occupied West Bank following the assassination of 10 Palestinians in a bombing that targeted two vehicles in Nablus and Tulkarm.

Israeli forces stormed the city of Nablus, located in the northern region of the West Bank, from both the eastern and western axes, patrolling through the city. They also invaded the town of Zawata, west of Nablus, raiding several neighborhoods there.

Armed clashes broke out in Zawata between resistance fighters and the invading forces, involving the deployment of flares in the night sky and throwing homemade explosive devices toward the occupation vehicles, which responded with live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that Israeli forces also raided the Al-Amari camp in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate with several vehicles and soldiers, storming various neighborhoods within the camp. They also interrogated hundreds of the camp’s residents.

Earlier, the correspondent reported injuries during confrontations with Israeli forces as they invaded the town of Bani Na’im, east of Hebron. Significant Israeli military reinforcements arrived in the town accompanied by a military bulldozer, and Israeli forces closed all town entrances.

In a related context, an Al Jazeera correspondent stated that the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm witnessed clashes and explosions after being stormed by Israeli occupation forces.

Assassination of 10 Palestinians

On Wednesday, five Palestinians were martyred when an Israeli drone bombed a vehicle in the Tulkarm Camp in the northern West Bank, while the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that two of its crew members were injured due to targeting by the Israeli army of an ambulance in the camp.

The correspondent reported that significant Israeli army forces are besieging the camp and preventing medical teams from entering, along with detaining several Palestinians for interrogation.

In Nablus, in the West Bank as well, the Israeli army assassinated five Palestinians by drone bombing their vehicle.

Palestinian medical sources reported that Israeli forces detained the bodies of several martyrs who were inside the targeted vehicle near Balata camp east of Nablus. One martyr’s charred remains arrived at the Rafidia hospital in Nablus after the occupation forces prevented ambulances from approaching the targeted vehicle.

On Wednesday morning, the Israeli army had stormed the Balata camp with a large number of military vehicles, leading to skirmishes with dozens of Palestinians.

As the Israeli army continues its invasive operations and escalations in the West Bank, Haaretz reported comments from Israeli security officials who indicated that the situation there is “on the verge of explosion.”

Ever since the resistance launched the Battle of Al-Aqsa Surge and the Israeli aggression on Gaza began, the occupation has intensified its military operations in the West Bank, increasing the pace of invasions and raids into Palestinian cities, towns, and camps resulting in more than 365 martyrs and about 4200 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for over 100 days has resulted in more than 24,000 martyrs, 61,000 wounded, and has caused the displacement of more than 85% of the residents of the Strip (around 1.9 million people). The war has also caused immense destruction to the infrastructure, vital facilities, and hospitals.
