Although Real Madrid has not yet disclosed the sponsor’s identity or the details of the agreement, the Spanish newspaper “AS” mentioned that this announcement sets the stage for a new partnership between the club and the global company.
The announcement was made through a video posted on all official Real Madrid accounts. According to the newspaper, as part of the sponsorship, Real Madrid will wear the company’s logo on its shirt, expected to be placed on one of the sleeves starting next week. This would place them alongside the club’s main sponsor, Emirates airline, which has the primary shirt sponsorship deal.
In total, the value of Real Madrid’s shirt sponsorships alone currently exceeds $270 million, primarily from Adidas, the kit manufacturer, with a deal worth €117.6 million ($127.2 million) annually until 2028. Real Madrid, known as “Los Blancos,” is one of the world’s largest clubs with sponsorship contracts surpassing other major names such as Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
