Occupation Targets Populated Homes in Rafah, 13 Massacres Committed

The Israeli occupation army carried out intensive airstrikes on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip since early Friday morning, threatening a ground attack. They also targeted Palestinians near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, forcing evacuees to leave two shelters in the city, as the Ministry of Health announced an increase in the casualties of the aggression to 27,947 martyrs.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the number of injuries reached 67,459 since last October 7th, mentioning that the occupation committed 13 massacres in the sector resulting in 107 martyrs and 142 wounded in the past 24 hours.

Israeli warplanes targeted populated homes in Rafah city, resulting in the martyrdom of 8 Palestinians, including women and children.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian was reported killed by Israeli snipers outside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, raising the death toll in the city to 8 since the morning, including an elderly person.

The correspondent mentioned that the occupation forces forced evacuees to leave Sheikh Jabr and Qindilah schools in Khan Yunis camp, noting the martyrdom of 7 people who were forced to leave after the occupation army fired at the schools using vehicles and drones.

The occupation also targeted a house near the Palestine Bank in Jabalia Al-Balad, northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Palestinians.

Gaza City Martyrs

In the middle of the Gaza Strip, 15 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli shelling targeting homes in Deir al-Balah and al-Zawayda.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting several houses in neighborhoods of Gaza City, specifically in Al-Rimal, Al-Sabra, Al-Zaytoun, Tal Al-Hawa, and Sheikh Ajleen, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The agency added that ambulances were unable to reach the targeted areas due to rocket and artillery shelling and firing from drones on anything moving.

The occupation naval warships also fired shells at the fishermen’s port area west of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes bombed main roads in Al-Maghazi camp and several houses in Al-Bureij and Al-Nusairat camps, completely destroying them.

In the al-Zawayda town, the Israeli army shelled a playground hosting displaced persons, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 Palestinians, including 3 children, and the injury of others, mostly children and women, according to Palestinian paramedics.
