The Israeli occupation forces have withdrawn from Ramallah after conducting overnight raids that extended to towns in the West Bank, while continuing their aggression against Gaza. Meanwhile, settlers raided a town in Salfit province, performing Talmudic rituals and musical dances.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the Israeli forces completely withdrew from Ramallah in the midst of the West Bank on Thursday after hours of invading the city, which hosts the Palestinian Authority headquarters. Snipers were deployed in several buildings during the siege of the Al-Manara roundabout in the city.

Palestinian sources confirmed that two young men were shot during clashes with the occupation army in the center of Ramallah.

The overnight raids also targeted the cities of Nablus, Tulkarem, Beitunya, and areas in Hebron.

According to Al Jazeera’s correspondent, the Israeli forces withdrew from the industrial zone in Beitunya early Thursday after raiding a workshop and destroying its belongings. The occupation forces also fired tear gas canisters and gunshots during their withdrawal from the area.

The occupation forces stormed the town of Alar in northern Tulkarem and arrested four Palestinians, including a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement.

In Hebron, settlers stormed the mosque of Al-Majaz village in Masafir Yatta under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, causing destruction and shouting through loudspeakers.

On another front, the US State Department stated that the demolition of the home of the spokesman for the Silwan Committee in Jerusalem by the Israeli army obstructs the path to a final peaceful solution.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Matthew Miller, condemned the demolition of the home of Furat Abu Diab, a social activist and spokesman for the Silwan town’s committee in occupied Jerusalem, stating that such practices damage Israel’s international standing. Miller added that these actions hinder efforts to achieve lasting peace and security, benefiting not only Palestinians but also Israelis.

The occupation authorities demolished Abu Diab’s home under the pretext of unauthorized construction, despite him having built his house 38 years ago.

Since the start of the aggression on Gaza, the occupation forces have been conducting nightly raids on cities and towns in the West Bank, accompanied by house raids, arrests, and gunfire at the resisting youths.

According to Palestinian Ministry of Health data, the number of Palestinian martyrs in the West Bank has risen to 395 since last October 7th, while the number of detainees has reached 7,020 Palestinians. The UN World Food Programme warned in a report on Wednesday of escalating Israeli arrests and restrictions on movement in the West Bank, increasing hunger rates among Palestinians.
