A prominent leader within the Houthi group (Ansar Allah) downplayed the impact of American and British airstrikes on their military sites in various locations including the capital Sana’a, the city of Hodeidah, and other provinces.

Describing the airstrikes in their second month over Houthi-controlled provinces in Yemen as “failed,” the Houthi leader expressed no fear of any potential US or UK military ground intervention to control the Yemeni coasts along the Red Sea.

In a special interview with Al Jazeera Net, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, stated that “ground war is what the Yemeni people want.”

Challenging, “If the United States sends forces to Yemen, they will face tougher challenges than those in Afghanistan and Vietnam, and our people have flexibility, readiness, and options to strategically defeat Americans in the region.”

Mohammed Ali, cousin of Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah group, clarified that the message of the Yemeni armed forces’ operations in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden is to stop Israeli brutality and the genocide crimes against Gaza, which the Americans continue to protect, support, and participate in.

For the second month, American and British attacks continue on Hodeidah and other provinces, including the capital Sana’a. Have these strikes undermined the military capabilities of Ansar Allah, especially in terms of missiles? And what have you achieved in supporting the resistance and Palestinians in Gaza?

The American and British attacks on our country, whether through airstrikes or missiles, have failed to achieve anything. The respected leader Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi confirmed this in his recent speech, stating that they did not affect the capabilities of the Yemeni armed forces nor reduce their missile capabilities.

On the contrary, it has had an impact on developing their military capabilities, which is evident and acknowledged by Americans and British through the continuation and diversification of their operations in the Red Sea or the Arabian Sea, as well as the continuation of their missile operations targeting the Israeli enemy entity in the city of Eilat.

As for the achievements of the Yemeni armed forces in supporting the resistance and the Palestinian people in Gaza, their operations at sea have been effective and impactful by the grace of Allah.

Today, there is a sense of desperation among the Israeli enemy regarding the possibility of their ships or the ships following them passing through the Bab el-Mandeb strait on the Red Sea, as they have acknowledged a paralysis in the port of Eilat. Their media constantly reports the devastating losses incurred by their economy due to these operations.

We stand in solidarity with our Palestinian brothers as a moral duty, a religious commitment, and a sense of brotherhood. Our position has a significant impact at all levels, and you, in the Al Jazeera network, can track and report on this impact and make it available to the Arab and Islamic audience and the free world as investigative media material, which is at the core of any professional media institution.
