Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, has released a video message featuring two Israeli captives in Gaza. In the message, they warned members of the Israeli war cabinet that the captives' lives are at risk due to military operations. The captives expressed a concern that the government does not want them returned alive.
An Israeli captive named Gadi Moses stated that they are "exposed to death at every moment" and could potentially be killed as a result of army bombardment. He elaborated that there is a feeling the government prefers them not to return alive to lower the negotiation bar.
Moses called on his friends and supporters to intensify pressure on the government so it would make greater efforts to bring them back.
The other captive, Elad Katesir, 47 years old, also indicated they are in danger due to "army missiles that threaten our lives", adding that they are homesick and wish to return alive.
Katesir appealed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all Israeli decision-makers to take all necessary actions, halt the firing, and complete a prisoner exchange deal.
Katesir concluded with an urgent plea: "We do not want to die in Gaza. Our lives are in great danger, and we are asking you to do everything that must be done to bring us home."
