Hezbollah announced today, Monday, that it targeted several Israeli sites across the Lebanese border at a time when the eastern areas of the town of Naqoura and the Rweisat region in southern Lebanon were subjected to Israeli shelling, according to the National News Agency.
Hezbollah stated in a communiqué that it targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers and their vehicles in the vicinity of Al-Hamra site using what it described as "suitable weapons."
Earlier today, Hezbollah reported that it targeted several Israeli sites, including bombing the sites of Rahav and a command center near the settlement of Even Menachem and the Avivim barracks, in addition to targeting a vehicle assembly in the vicinity of the village of Houla.
The group added that it bombarded these locations using "suitable weapons and achieved direct hits," resulting in a number of Israeli soldiers killed and injured.
In another development, the Israeli army announced via its Telegram platform that sirens sounded in the area of Yaara on the border with Lebanon without giving further details.
Striking Hezbollah Targets
In response to Hezbollah, the Israeli military stated in a statement that one of its fighters bombed what it described as Hezbollah infrastructure targets. It further mentioned that another aircraft bombed a "cell" in Lebanon that attempted to launch an anti-tank missile.
Hezbollah had announced – on Sunday – the death of three of its members in southern Lebanon.
Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army have been exchanging shelling across the border, with both parties announcing casualties on the other side.
This comes while the Israeli aggression on the sector continues for the 73rd day, leaving nearly 19,000 martyrs and more than 51,000 wounded, most of them women and children, along with immense destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities, and hospitals.
