Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that a Palestinian was martyred after being shot by Israeli occupation forces that raided the town of Beit Rima in the northwest of Ramallah city in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that six Palestinian youths were injured during clashes with the occupation forces that erupted in the center of the town after the forces and their vehicles stormed the area early Friday morning.
Several Palestinians were also injured during the incursion by Israeli occupation forces into Balata refugee camp and the eastern area of Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that several injuries were recorded during the incursion into the camp, and the occupation prevented ambulances from transporting the wounded.
The occupation forces stormed the city from the Beit Furik military checkpoint to the south, raiding the camp and the eastern area with a bulldozer amidst the firing of shots, clashes, and the sound of repeated explosions, while occupation forces were seen in various neighborhoods of the camp.
Throughout the previous night, occupation forces continued to raid several cities and towns in the West Bank, entering the city of Halhul north of Hebron, patrolling with vehicles, followed by an incursion into the city of Yatta to the south of Hebron. The occupation forces also raided the village of Azzun east of Qalqilya.
Earlier, Palestinian resistance fighters clashed with the Israeli army in various areas of the West Bank, while the army completely withdrew its forces from the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm city, after a military operation that lasted about 40 hours.
The raids and arrests in the cities and refugee camps are part of a broad Israeli escalation in the West Bank, since the launch of the Al-Aqsa flood battle on October 7th.
According to the latest data published by the Palestinian Prisoners' Club on Thursday, the number of arrests since that date has reached approximately 5,630 detainees.
