Fresh off being crowned Africa’s Best Player, Nigerian star Victor Osimhen of Napoli captivated spectators when he scored and delivered an astonishing assist against Cagliari on Saturday in round 16 of the Italian Serie A football league.
Osimhen netted the opening goal in the 69th minute, a lead which Napoli enjoyed for no more than 3 minutes as Cagliari found an equalizer through Leonardo Pavoletti.
But the Napoli forward quickly turned things around when, in the 75th minute, he set up the second goal with a show-stopping delivery to his Georgian teammate, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, leaving fans in awe with his flair.

Osimhen, who will be celebrating his 25th birthday on December 29th, scored 26 goals across 32 matches in the last Serie A season, helping Napoli claim the domestic title after a considerable absence.
The Nigerian star has also achieved two historic milestones with Napoli; not only did he become the African player with the highest number of goals in a single Serie A season, but he also became the all-time top African scorer in the league, amassing a total of 56 goals over four seasons, all spent within the ranks of the Napoli club.
This victory took Napoli’s points tally to 27, temporarily lifting them to the fourth position in the league standings.
