The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army has instructed soldiers not to film any video clips within the camps or during combat operations in Gaza and other areas.
The army has ordered soldiers not to film any video clips unrelated to military tasks, citing the existence of clips and statements by soldiers that harm the war’s objectives. The spokesperson emphasized that any soldier filming a video with no operational purpose will face strict consequences.
Since the aggression on Gaza began, numerous videos posted by occupation soldiers on their social media accounts have revealed their boasting about destroying Palestinian properties and mocking them.
The footage showed soldiers vandalizing stores and classrooms inside schools, making derogatory comments about Palestinians, and calling for the construction of Israeli settlements in the sector, which is “an inflammatory idea advocated by some Israeli right-wing extremist politicians,” according to the New York Times.
Since the 7th of October, the occupation army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, resulting in more than 28,000 martyrs, mostly women and children, and around 70,000 injured, in addition to the destruction of cities in the sector and the displacement and starvation of its residents.
