The Palestinian factions have issued a statement calling on Arab and Islamic governments to take urgent action and exert political pressure to halt the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip that has persisted for over 4 months.
They have urged for tomorrow to be recognized as a global day in support of the Palestinian cause, with the following Saturday and Sunday designated as international days to support the Palestinian people in European, Western, Latin American, and East Asian countries.
Appealing to the Palestinian people to stand together against projects aiming to displace and liquidate the Palestinian cause, they have praised the legendary patience and steadfastness of their people, along with their support and embracement of the resistance and its heroic deeds.
Since the 7th of October, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, as well as an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction. This has led Tel Aviv to face charges of genocide before the International Court of Justice.
Simultaneously, the West Bank is witnessing a wave of tension and on-ground confrontations between Palestinians and occupation forces, marked by raids and arrests of Palestinians, coinciding with the destructive war on Gaza.
The number of detainees in the occupied West Bank has risen to 7,040 Palestinians on Thursday since October 7, 2023, following the Israeli army’s arrest of 20 individuals during raids in several provinces.
