The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Islamic resistance movement, announced they have renewed their missile strikes on Tel Aviv in response to the "Zionist massacres" against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the sound of explosions in the eastern and southern suburbs of Tel Aviv, along with the sounds of rocket interceptions in the skies over the greater Tel Aviv area.

The correspondent stated that warning sirens were activated in all regions of the Israeli interior plain, including greater Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion.

The Israeli military stated that even after 74 days of war, warning sirens are still sounding in central Israel, with millions of citizens seeking refuge.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the launch, which appears to show that Hamas retains long-range missile capabilities even as Israel continues its war on Gaza, which has entered its 11th week, according to Reuters.

The Qassam Brigades had previously shelled Tel Aviv several times since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th.
