The Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stated that Palestine is an issue of principle and honor.
During a reception yesterday, Sunday, for the Central Municipal Council Chairman, the Vice President, and the Council members at the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Tamim emphasized that the killing and displacement of Palestinians is a red line that cannot be crossed or accepted.

In his earlier meeting this month in Doha with the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the Amir of Qatar reaffirmed the need for an immediate ceasefire and protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
He also called for the provision of adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip and to work towards de-escalation in order to ensure stability and security in the region.
