The Qatari News Agency reported that the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a written letter from the King of Spain, Felipe VI, concerning bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them.
It was clarified that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares, delivered the letter during the Emir’s reception at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said on Tuesday that he reaffirmed to the Emir of Qatar Madrid’s commitment to achieving peace in the Middle East through the two-state solution.
Albares wrote on the platform ‘Twitter’, “I conveyed to the Emir of Qatar Spain’s firm commitment to peace and stability in the region, and its support for the release of hostages, cessation of hostilities, the two-state solution, and peaceful coexistence between Israel and Palestine.”
