The sole survivor of the bombing that targeted the Salem family's home near Al-Jalaa Street in the center of Gaza City has issued a plea, stating that dozens of bodies and missing individuals, including at least 50 children, remain under the rubble.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, he explained that the occupation forces had encircled the area and that he was outside the house and unable to return for three days. When he did return, he found the house had been bombed.
He added that a neighbor had informed him that 16 family members were in Al-Shifa Hospital, emphasizing that the house was bombed more than once by missiles before the occupation's bulldozers buried the house with those inside.
He called on the International Committee of the Red Cross to intervene in the search for survivors beneath the home, reaffirming that there are at least 50 children under the debris, in addition to dozens of men and women.
