Israeli forces stormed the town of Ya'bad southwest of Jenin, amid sporadic clashes with resistance fighters, while a number of Palestinians were injured in Nablus.

A young Palestinian was shot by Israeli forces during their raid on the town of Ya'bad, where Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed several areas in the town, raided a number of houses, and conducted searches. Dozens of Palestinian youths confronted the incursion, to which occupation soldiers responded with live ammunition, resulting in a young Palestinian man being wounded and transferred to Jenin Governmental Hospital for treatment.

Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Jenin, in the northern West Bank, after carrying out bulldozing and vandalism activities that included damage to sewer and electricity networks.

A number of vehicles and bulldozers accompanied the occupation forces during the incursion, which saw intermittent skirmishes with Palestinian resistance fighters and homemade explosive devices thrown at soldiers and occupation machinery.

In Jenin as well, the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed the site where colleague Shireen Abu Akleh was martyred, in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood at the entrance of the Jenin camp.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces demolished, using bulldozers and armored vehicles, the wall and carob tree where martyr Shireen had fallen at its trunk, as well as destroying her pictures affixed to the wall and the stone monument commemorating her name and the date of her martyrdom.

Local sources also reported that Israeli occupation forces dismantled doors of several commercial shops in the town of Ya'bad.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the occupation forces hindered the work of medical teams and prevented ambulances from reaching the injured.

Local sources informed Al Jazeera that the occupation forces raided homes, destroyed their contents, and carried out a campaign of arrests among the youth.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health, on Wednesday evening, announced the death of a young man affected by Israeli gunfire in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah (central), bringing the number of martyrs in the West Bank to 342 since October 7th last year.

The Ministry said in a brief statement: "The martyrdom of the young man Fahim Ahmed Fahim Al-Khatib (25 years old), affected by his injury in the abdomen by occupation bullets in Beitunia two days ago."

In Jerusalem, local sources reported that the occupation forces invaded the Ain al-Lozeh neighborhood in the town of Silwan, where those forces subjected young men to searches during the incursion.
